Drivers on I-196 near Saugatuck should expect 15-minute traffic stoppages in both directions between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday nights. The 48th Avenue and Baldwin Street roundabout in Georgetown Township is scheduled to finish Saturday, October 17, and East 8th Street in Holland stays closed for the Board of Public Works water main through the end of October. The 12th Avenue resurfacing in Georgetown Township moved back a week and now starts this week. Here are the road closures, lane restrictions and upcoming projects that the road commissions, MDOT, the City of Holland and the Holland Board of Public Works have posted for Monday, October 12 through Sunday, October 18, grouped by town. ## Holland and Holland Township ### City of Holland - Closed**E 8th Street, US-31 to Waverly Road** Closed since September 14 for the Holland BPW water main replacement; the southbound center lane and the northbound left-turn lane on Waverly are also closed at 8th. The project page also lists 8th Street between Waverly Road and Paw Paw Drive as closing August 28 and posts no reopening date for that block. Traffic control stays up until the project finishes at the end of October.
